Movement Assessment: We assess the entire body to find the cause of your pain.
Manual Therapy: We utilized hands-on techniques that will relieve pain and promote healing so you can return to the active lifestyle you desire without relying any pain medications.
Therapeutic Exercise: Movement is the medicine. We will prescribe specific exercises based on your restrictions and limitations found in our movement assessment. The prescribed exercises will improve your strength and flexibly. Once you start moving better, you will feel better!
Education: Our goal is to alleviate your pain quickly and never have it return. Therefore, we strongly encourage that our patients adhere to their home exercises program. We provide our patients with a video demonstration of their home exercises to ensure proper form and safety by using our app.
Stretch Therapy
With assisted stretching, the work is done for you. You work one on one with an experienced therapist who has knowledge of anatomy, physiology and stretching techniques. You will be taken through a stretch routine that helps reduce pain and stress.
Dr. Joseph Anello PT, DPT
I am Joe Anello, owner and practicing physical therapist of Champion Physical Therapy & Wellness.
I was born and raised in Belleville, NJ where I played baseball and wrestled for the town. I was inspired to become a physical therapist after a sports injury in high school required me to get surgery. I was so impressed with my physical therapist’s ability to alleviate my pain which allowed me to recover in time for the upcoming season. I knew at that moment I wanted to become a physical therapist so I can provide the same experience for my future patients.
In 2016, I graduated from Caldwell University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Then, I continued my education with Kean University earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019.
In 2020, I founded Champion Physical Therapy & Wellness to provide exceptional care to patients who wanted undivided attention during their physical therapy session.
My practice is based on listening and making sure I’m targeting the source and root of your pain or injury. I do not impose a generic pre-packaged treatment plan. I utilize advance neuro-facilitation, manual, functional therapeutic strengthening techniques, to yield desired outcomes at the earliest time possible. I highly value one on one, hands-on treatments to promote faster healing and recovery.
